Dr. Aylin Seven
Dr. Aylin Seven is an specialist adult and paediatric Anaesthetist, working full time in public practice with appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Austin Hospital. She has been working in private anaesthetic practice mostly in paediatric anaesthesia in Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) and Dental work.
She has worked in Melbourne since 2020, and prior to her time at RCH and the Austin she has worked in Darwin, NT and Newcastle, NSW. She has also worked in some remote parts of Australia such as Nhulunbuy in East Arnhem Land. Her professional interests also include welfare and leadership, global health, teaching and simulation. She has been involved in overseas anaesthetic teaching projects in Namibia, Fiji and Samoa as well as teaching trainees and medical students here in Australia.
She is an accredited Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, a member of both the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and Society of Paediatric Anaesthetists of New Zealand and Australia (SPANZA). Her other qualifications include Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Masters of International Public Health.
