Dr. Ben Bartlett
Dr. Ben Bartlett grew up in the coastal town of Wollongong, NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, at the University of New South Wales before pursuing medicine at the University of Wollongong. His early medical training was undertaken at Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as in Orange and Wagga Wagga, NSW. He subsequently completed his anaesthetic training at John Hunter Hospital.
Dr. Bartlett undertook his anaesthetic provisional fellowship in Darwin, Northern Territory, where he gained valuable experience in the delivery of complex healthcare to rural, remote, and Indigenous communities across the Top End. He has a particular interest in regional anaesthesia and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound through the University of Melbourne. He currently works as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at John Hunter Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bartlett enjoys spending time with his family, maintaining an active lifestyle, travelling, and following a range of sports, including cricket, AFL, golf, rugby union, and tennis.
